Editorial policy
Updated 26 October 2026Approved by Eigenaar ForexPlatform on 27 October 2026
ForexPlatform helps you compare regulated forex brokers. This policy describes how we work and what you can hold us to.
Independence
- Brokers cannot buy a position, score or review.
- Our scores follow a fixed, public methodology with the same weights for every broker.
- Affiliate fees don't influence the order of our lists.
- Brokers don't see our texts in advance and have no say in our conclusions.
Regulated brokers only
We only list brokers licensed by a regulator in the EU or EEA that may provide services in our readers' countries under the European passport. We verify each licence ourselves in the regulator's public register and show the date of the last check for every broker. If that check is more than 90 days old, the broker is automatically removed from the site until it has been re-verified.
Sources
- Licences: the public registers of regulators such as CySEC (Cyprus), the Central Bank of Ireland and Finantsinspektsioon (Estonia), and the register of the Dutch AFM.
- Costs and conditions: the official price lists, cost disclosures and terms on the broker's website.
- Loss percentages: the mandatory risk warning on the broker's website, with the date on which we recorded it.
Any claim we make about a broker can be traced back to one of these sources.
No profit promises
We never promise returns or downplay risks. Every page where we promote a broker shows a risk warning with that broker's loss percentage.
Keeping up to date
Brokers change their fees and conditions regularly. We update our data periodically. Every review and ranking shows the date of its last update.
